In both shelters, guests are provided with:
Admission to both shelters is subject to approval of the
Executive Director.
Our team is here to make sure Our House stays a safe space for guests to find shelter. To help
with this, we have Entry Requirements and Shelter Rules that everyone must follow at all times.
We cannot admit guests unless they meet our entry requirements.
Failure to adhere to rules may result in a suspension from the shelter.

No entry if you...

  • Are a registered sex offender
  • Have recently been convicted of a violent crime
  • Are under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances
  • Have an active warrant

Entry Requirements

  • Photo ID for all guests  Our House Police Clearance Form may be substituted
  • Background check
  • Drug and/or alcohol test
  • Willingness to work toward self-written goals

Shelter Rules

  • No violence or threats of violence
  • No alcohol or illegal substance use or possession on the property
  • Must follow all directions of staff
  • Must participate in maintaining a tidy environment
